ADAS functions are the basis for future autonomous driving. Clustered in comfort functions and safety functions, Bosch development teams are responsible to transform the customer requirements into functions and features in today’s cars able to protect and support the drivers. This discussion will cover our product lifecycle – starting from diagnostic layers to application layers where the radar system detects the surroundings. The entire flow – from a magnetic waveform to a decision for applying the brakes and stop the car – will be presented.
